Studio member Murphy Massey-O’Hanlon received the 3rd place prize at the Intermediate Level in the Young Artist’s Competition on April 24, 2021. I’m so proud of Murphy for taking part in this event and for playing so beautifully. Congratulations! The competition is sponsored by the Gig Harbor Chapter of the Music Teachers National Association every other year and offers monetary awards for students ages 10 to 18 who study with GHMTNA teachers. We were able to hold the event in person with masks and social distancing in Bonnie Rees’s spacious studio. Thanks Bonnie!
