I have taught piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities. At the advanced level, I taught at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota and at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota. I currently have a studio in my home in Gig Harbor in addition to teaching at Parkland Lutheran School in Parkland, Washington. My private students benefit from my membership in the Gig Harbor Music Teachers Association.

We sponsor a Music Olympics event in November where each student competes in the nine basic areas of musicianship. And in February my students perform in the Festival of Piano Trios in which they have a chance to play with two professional string players. 

I work to give my students a solid foundation in music theory, sightreading and ensemble playing!
